GOING GREEN THE DECORATOR’S WAY

As we all are aware, the past year had been a real corker.  Money tight, downsizing, fuel going up, salaries going down. And of course the weather!!  Well you know that whole scenario.

ENOUGH OF THAT!!!

This winter we at the Decorator’s Nook were moaning and groaning about the economy as we were updating our samples and removing discontinued patterns.  BRAINSTORM!!!  

People still want to have pretty things, color, change, and of course one of the most important things in our lives,  the saving of our world. 

So, we conceived the idea of our own version of recycling.  We find things in the strangest places, our homes, basements, attics, Goodwill, Christian Crossings, Nearly New, Garage Sales, you get the gist!  We take these items and using our own credo, we thoroughly clean them up, then we REMIX, REUSE, REFRESH AND RECYCLE!!!

This new endeavor is ECO CHIC. 

Being decorators and artists we couldn’t be just another flea market.  Our mission is to make beauty in life.  We are using as many eco friendly products as we can find plus taking items and REPURPOSING THEM!

One of the nicest things is that when you purchase an item you have automatically contributed to AMERICAN WORKERS IN YOUR OWN TOWN, and are RECYCLING!!  TRULY A WIN/WIN DEAL!!
