The owners purchased the home 14 years ago.  It was built in the Frank Lloyd Wright style to blend in with the surroundings.  The interior had real Cherry paneling and skylights to begin with.  Over the years we put an addition on of a Master Bedroom and 2 baths. always keeping the integrity of the original structure.

This year they decided to upgrade again and again we used natural materials, adding new ones.  We replaced the existing guest kitchen with hickory cabinetry and following the idea of making multiple uses of every inch we used the same cabinetry on the great room side to create more storage and surface space.  We had a problem with old ugly paneling that just sucked up the light.  So we painted it and added new lighting.  Three Murphy beds fold out of the wall and fold up when not in use.

The "laundry/mud/whatever room" was totally ripped out and new flooring with heat was put down, custom cabinetry utilizing every inch of possible space.  It now serves as a craft room, laundry, butlers pantry, mud room.  Using easy to clean laminate cabinetry and adding lighting make all the difference in the world.
